Old Chun is rarely used nobly where one bow’s to the opponent and spin kicks are not used the rockets are not spammed but then the skill shine’s brightly

Start the match with a slow rocket if you are fighting a Hado user(Ryu, Akuma and so one) If the opponent is spamming hadokens use your kicks in the air(down face your opponent high kick ↓ →) the moment you touch the ground ,don’t stay in on corner if your opponent is saving his special either he wants to do a Rd or pro style he waiting for you to be in the right place never use the first special in this fight unless you are sure he is in the corner use the kicks to get from side to side and always go into the air after The air is your safe place

Summary Use slow rockets, Stay in the air and watch for the Rd or crossover never use the ball special unless you know it will hit.
