Ready buttion

Well, I know most people are tired of joining a game and the host starts without warning( Causing some one to pick the wrong character). I was thinking Maybe Tmyapp can add a ready buttion and the game can't start until all the Players Ready up. I think is a simple idea but can be a very good.

Bad idea, what if people joined, and they kept messing with you and NOT pressing ready. Sure you may kick them, but it will get annoying. It's good how it is.

Anyway i think it would certainly stop the host from doing those lame 2 on 1's where they stick you with someone they know is crap.

Stealing idea's from other games, Y_09 i wonder if you ever noticed that every fliping game has took an already made idea and use it for their own ways... we're in a society that cannot create any new ways of doing things !


now onto the idea itself, very well thought, now that would be a kick ass idea, and no i don't see any flaws to it, youtold it yourself you can just kick the person around. so where the problem to it, i see none and it actually helps those who look at the keyboard when they type and cannot see the starting game sentence and then hit one of their buttons and choose ryu and then get owned because they didn't take the right charcater. AKA ME !

i like th eidea should definitely be made into !

AFTER DWX though because i see quite a lot of works with it !

this feature is present in several other games ya know, gunz was hardly original in all aspects. In fact the game is a simplified clone of the specialists.


but about this feature, I think we all have been screwed into the wrong character so i see know problem witht he idea myself, nor do i think anyone will.

heh.. like game spy arcade.. nice idea would also be great if it tells if the server is open or closed before joining any servers, like when you press join game "blablabla`s game Open"

i love it..lol, i wud have thot of this but it wud have taken me 2 years lol..cause im usually thinking about how to make the acuall gameplay better..aka. sentinels rocket punch shud be delayed juss like sakura's sheildy thingy move..

Then we'd have to sit and wait for somebody to press a ready button? Uh huh. Bad idea. Keep it the way it is. If you pick the wrong character, then that's on you.

Finally, someone posted a good idea. (didn't mane anything specifically to you (~thug~), it's just my observations on this forum)

Instead of people begging you to join their host and they have someone else join in just to trap you in a 2on1 or have someone take a loss so they can get a win off you.

That ready button will do wonders to prevent this alot.

EDIT: It should also be able to switch from "ready" to "not ready" in case you have to handle something on your end.

Load Playstation games online, xbox online, xbox 360 online. You'll see people waiting to press ready.

I think it's good. But I always tell them, "ya ready?" or I don't care if they start. I'm always ready.

Patience is a virtue mercedes...
the ready button is quite good in my view, it make people able to speak their mind on the game they which to play before they play it while others like you just wait and once someone gets in plays it in your rules without ever wondering if the guy really wants to play it like that !

i think the ready button is the best idea of the year !
