2 player?

well this idea is basically add a player 2 control feature at the moment SFO only has controls for 1 player. i sometimes want to vs my friends that im with but as you know it only has 1 player controls.
2 player can work online and storymode. I know for SFO you can only log in with just 1 username for online it can be similar to most console 2+ player online games the username for player 2 can be "coolio555(1)" and you can tag team online or go against and even vs each other in storymode with just using the same keyboard.

Should there be player 2 controls? Yes/no? Reason?

any question on this i will try to answer.

I doubt you will be able to fight a friend/with a friend online from the same PC..

As you would be playing from the same IP, and it is likely that you will be "locked out" as a result..

Playing behind the same screen can be very complicated, the easiest and best way would be to get on to another computer.

It'll be alot of struggle to implement this feature when really not many people will use it. Will it all be on one screen or split into two? Either way, it can break alot of strategies.

he's saying that we should make SFO similar to a console fighting game

add support for two players on one computer to play SFO in story mode, tag team, or versus

the two players will appear on the same screen (duh!)

its agood idea ,to add aversus mode on same comp, for ppl have a pc
but only , in offline mode,online mode dont need to have this

I think its a great idea to have a 2-player mode for SFO... since no one else agrees wit the idea... but me!

Hmm...idea is good but split screen is not good. If there is a chance to open two small SFO windows, one for player 1 and second for player 2 it would be great.

2 windows - vote - yes
split window - vote - no

To be honest, its a terrible idea. If you want to play 2 players with your friend then use another pc or if your on the same pc just play story mode and when yuo tag your partner you guys which on the keyboard

sorry ive been working..... There is NO splitscreen/split window it will be exactly like most fighting games in the same screen... for those saying that i should just get another computer to fight him? what the hells the point if hes in my house right next to me should i just send him to a house that has a computer with connection no cause thats just stupid and disrespectful to him, its just like saying theres only one parachute on this plane jump on to another plane that has one... what if we only get freetime at school in computer class how the hell am i supost to fight him? the firewall prevents us from entering "Online" ... There is enough room on the keyboard for 2 player controls its not like a hand is the size of a truck...

This is pretty much what im saying. Hope most of use have read that...

May i ask since i dont know much about it, if hes in the my house using the same connection with a different computer wouldnt he have the same IP?

Yes he would have the same ip still but what they are trying to say is it would be much easier for you to have another screen and keyboard to yourself rather than sharing just 1 screen and keyboard....

About the idea i don't think its a bad idea but its not a must....

This is an online internet game, tell him get a computer or something... and get a cheap dial=up connection and there you go, problem solved

cheap? you call dial-up cheap?

you have to pay for two lines, a long distance plan, and other stuff

depending on the dial-up provider, it's actually cheaper to get broadband

It wouldn't be possible to have two active windows. Only one window can be active at a time.

So lets say there was to be two windows. One window is active while the other isn't, player one would be able to move but player two wouldn't be able to unless his/her window is active and vise versa.
